More than 20 tourists were injured, three of them seriously, when a coach crashed on its way to the airport in Barcelona. Seven Britons, two people from Ireland, as well as passengers from Germany, Poland, Lithuania, Belarus and Spain were among the 24 hurt. The accident happened as the vehicle crashed on a ring road during heavy rain on its way from the resort of Lloret de Mar. Pictures from the crash scene showed the vehicle, partly covered by a tarpaulin, on its side on a grass verge by the road. The casualties - 15 had minor injuries, while six were described as being in a moderate condition - were taken to hospitals across Barcelona. The driver was among the injured too.
