Aunt is locked in a wardrobe as armed raiders target Chris Brown’s home

Three armed men in masks have forced their way into a Los Angeles home owned by Chris Brown, locking the singer’s aunt in a closet and ransacking the place for valuables. The suspects escaped with an unknown amount of cash, electronics and personal items, police said. The aunt was unharmed and was able to call 911. Brown was not at the home during the robbery at about 2am local time on Wednesday but spoke to officers when he returned to the scene.

We’re trying to see if there’s any video evidence that might have picked up the suspects.

The robbery took place in the 26-year-old’s gated property at the end of a secluded street in the San Fernando Valley. Investigators said the suspects were armed with handguns and wore bandanas around their faces. Earlier this year, a woman was charged with breaking in to another Los Angeles-area home owned by Brown. Amira Kodcia Ayeb, 21, pleaded not guilty to felony burglary, stalking and vandalism. R'n'b star Brown, known for his on-off relationship with Rihanna, won a Grammy for his 2011 album F.A.M.E and is known for hit singles like Run It and Look At Me Now.
