Autopsy to unravel the mystery over death of Bobbi Kristina Brown at 22

An autopsy is to be carried to try to work out what led to the death of Whitney Houston’s daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown, authorities have said. The time that elapsed from when the 22-year-old was found unresponsive in a bath on January 31 until her death on Sunday will “complicate” efforts to reconstruct events, the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office said. “Interpretation of autopsy findings and other information will also be challenging,” the medical examiner’s office said in the statement. “However, an autopsy could be helpful to address questions which may arise about the cause of her unresponsiveness and eventual death.” Police are also continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death, the statement added.

Peace at last.

Bobbi Kristina, the only daughter of pop legend Whitney Houston and singer Bobby Brown, was discovered face down in the bath and has been in a coma in hospital ever since. Her death is a chilling echo of that of her mother , who died aged 48 from accidental drowning in a bath at a hotel in Beverly Hills, California, after years of cocaine abuse. Announcing Bobbi Kristina’s death, her family said. “She is finally at peace in the arms of God.” Stars, including her cousin, singer Dionne Warwick, lined up to pay tribute. Appearing on a US TV show, Warwick, 74, said: “She was a sweetheart and she will be missed that’s for sure. And she was a good girl… She was a good little girl, she really was.”
