Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson hit Valentino for ‘Zoolander 2’

Paris Fashion Week welcomed two really, really, ridiculously good looking additions on Tuesday, as Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson reprised their “Zoolander” male model characters to strut the Maison Valentino runway ahead of the hit comedy’s sequel. It’s not every day that Vogue editor Anna Wintour is spotted “laughing hysterically” at a fashion show. But that’s exactly what happened when the lights dropped and The Human League’s 1982 hit “Don’t You Want Me” began, and Siller and Wilson—in character as Derek Zoolander and Hansel—stormed the runway in silky suits and coats draped over their shoulders.

I’m pretty sure there’s a lot more to life than being really, really, ridiculously good looking. And I plan on finding out what that is.

Derek Zoolander

The duo – characters from the massively popular 2001 comedy, Zoolander – proceeded to walk, selfie and blue-steel their way down the catwalk. Stiller and Wilson play fashion rivals in the original film, in which a clueless fashion model is brainwashed into killing the Malaysian Prime Minister. The Paris Fashion Week stunt was designed to announce Zoolander 2, with Paramount confirming shortly after that filming was set to begin in Rome “any day now”. The sequel will be cinemas on 12 February, 2016.
