CeeLo Green continues to apologise on Twitter after rape remarks

CeeLo Green deleted his Twitter account after apologising for making comments about the definition of rape and then on Wednesday appeared to be back online. The “Crazy” singer took to the micro-blogging site after pleading no contest to supplying ecstasy to a woman at a Los Angeles restaurant in 2012. His lawyers said he had consensual sex with the woman despite her claiming she had no memory of it. Rape charges were not filed because of a lack of evidence.

People who have really been raped REMEMBER!!! If someone is passed out they’re not even WITH you consciously! so WITH Implies consent.

On Friday, the 39-year-old former judge on the U.S. show “The Voice” was sentenced to three years probation and 45 days of community service. Before deleting his Twitter account on Monday, Green wrote: “Let me first praise God for exoneration fairness & freedom! Secondly, I sincerely apologise for my comments being taken so far out of context. I only intended on a healthy exchange to help heal those who love me from the pain I had already caused from this. Please forgive me as it was your support that got me thru this to begin with.”

I truly and deeply apologize for the comments attributed to me on Twitter. comments were idiotic, untrue + not what I believe.
