Comedian Bill Cosby: I gave pills and money to woman I had sex with

Comedian Bill Cosby admitted he offered pills and payments to a woman he had sexual encounters with and tried to hide it from his wife, according to newly uncovered court documents. The TV star said he acted as a mentor to Andrea Constand and wooed her by “inviting her to my house, talking to her about personal situations dealing with her life, growth, education”. The pair remained in contact for several years and one night at his house in Pennsylvania he said he gave her one and a half tablets of Benadryl to relieve stress. They reportedly kissed and had sexual contact afterward, according to the court documents filed ten years ago and published by the New York Times. She later returned to her native Canada, after Cosby offered to pay for her further education.

I think Andrea is a liar and I know she’s a liar because I was there. I was there.

Cosby has been accused by dozens of women of attacks going back decades but has not been charged with a crime. In a separate court admission, published this month Cosby said he used sedatives to lure at least one woman into having sex. University employee Ms Constand’s lawsuit was settled with Cosby on undisclosed terms. But in the deposition Cosby, now 78, describes sexual encounters with at least five women, and a “romantic” interest in two more. However, he insisted he did not have non-consensual sex with anyone. "I am a man, the only way you will hear about who I had sex with is from the person I had it with,“ he said.

I think I’m a pretty decent reader of people and their emotions in these romantic sexual things, whatever you want to call them.
