Could Spectre be Daniel Craig’s last Bond film?

Daniel Craig has hinted Spectre could be his final outing as suave agent James Bond. The 47-year-old actor has portrayed 007 in three movies – Casino Royale, Quantum Of Solace and Skyfall – and teased he could hang up his Secret Service spy hat after he reprises the role for the fourth time in Spectre. Asked if he would like to do another Bond movie, he told Esquire UK: “At this moment, no. I have a life and I’ve got to get on with it a bit. But we’ll see.” As for Spectre, which opens in UK cinemas on October 26, Craig teased: “It’s Skyfall times 10! Spectre is a celebration of all that’s Bond.”

I’m not trying to be coy. At the moment I can’t even conceive it.

Whether or not he is back as secret agent, Craig – who is married to actress Rachel Weisz – said he is proud of being a part of the Bond legacy. “(I will miss) doing the films; just that. You know, it sounds awful but I’ve been left a wealthy man by doing this,” he explained. Craig, who has shared steamy scenes with Naomie Harris, Gemma Arterton and Eva Green, also revealed how he has tried to play down Bond’s reputation as a womaniser. “Hopefully, my Bond is not as sexist and misogynistic as (earlier incarnations). The world has changed,” he said.

I’m incredibly fortunate. But the other stuff that goes along with it… I’ve done my best.
