David Beckham and son Brooklyn ‘shaken but unhurt’ after car crash

David Beckham and his son Brooklyn have been left “shaken” after they escaped injury in a car crash. The former England captain, 39, and his 15-year-old son (pictured left) are understood to have walked away from the accident, which involved one other vehicle. Two passengers in the other vehicle are also understood to have been unharmed after the crash at London Colney in Hertfordshire. Beckham and his eldest son were shaken by the accident but did not suffer any injuries, according to Sky sources.

Weird to play against Brooklyn Beckham earlier. Even weirder to be currently stuck behind David Beckham as he has crashed his car.

Brighton under-16s squad member Thomas Cadman

The ex-Manchester United and Real Madrid midfielder had been collecting Brooklyn, who was playing for Arsenal’s under-16s against Brighton and Hove Albion, from the London club’s training centre. The crash was apparently witnessed by at least two members of the Brighton squad. One Brighton youngster, Archie Davies, tweeted: “Just seen David Beckham looks like he got in a car crash and hurt his shoulder.” The teenager then added: “Star struck by seeing David Beckham tbh.” Brooklyn joined Arsenal on a short-term contract in November. His brothers Romeo, 12, and Cruz, 9, have also been playing for the club’s underage teams.
