The Islamic State group said Friday that the 26-year-old Mueller from Prescott, Arizona, died in a Jordanian airstrike. The government of Jordan dismissed the statement as propaganda. U.S. officials have said they hadn’t seen any evidence to corroborate the report. Mueller was the only known remaining U.S. hostage held by the Islamic State group. She was taken into captivity in August 2013 while leaving a hospital in Syria.

No matter how long it takes, the United States will find and bring to justice the terrorists who are responsible for Kayla’s captivity and death.
