Dennis Rodman gets teary about North Korea in new documentary

The always unpredictable Dennis Rodman gets emotional explaining his relationship with North Korea’s Kim Jong Un – and the death threats he’s gotten as a result – in a film opening on 25 January at the Slamdance Film Festival. The timing couldn’t be better for director Colin Offland and writer Matt Baker, who will host the world premiere of their documentary “Dennis Rodman’s Big Bang In Pyongyang” in Park City, Utah, just months after Sony Pictures was hacked – allegedly over “The Interview’s” depiction of Supreme Leader Kim. Rodman claims he wasn’t aware of some of the atrocities Kim Jong Un, aka the Marshal, committed against his own people.

People here want to know, ‘Is he this tyrant? Does he kill people?’ I’ve been around him and his compound, I’ve been to his vacation spots. If I would have seen something negative about him, I probably would have come back and said so.
