Do you want to know a secret? The Beatles will be streaming music online

The Beatles seem set to end their boycott of streaming services and release their back catalogue of hits online. It is understood an announcement will be made later today to confirm the legendary band’s music will be available through such sites as Spotify and Apple Music from Christmas Eve. Billboard previously reported that “sources” indicated the fourpiece’s popular single ‘Hey Jude’, along with studio albums, would be streamed on December 24, as well as a possible six-month deal for a big-name streaming site. Now, Re/Code reports that The Beatles’ music will appear across most major streaming sites.

We had expected they would probably do an exclusive deal to stream their music with one service, but it looks like instead they are going to be pretty much everywhere from day one.
