Donald Trump threatens General Motors with ‘big border tax!’

Donald Trump has taken aim at US car giant General Motors in his latest clash with big business as he prepares to take office. The President-elect threatened to impose a “big border tax” on the company for making its Chevy Cruze model in Mexico. GM shares slipped 1% in pre-market trading after Mr Trump made the remarks in a tweet.

General Motors is sending Mexican-made model of Chevy Cruze to US car dealers tax free across border. Make in USA or pay big border tax!
