Donald Trump tricked into posting image of British mass murderers on Twitter

Flamboyant tycoon Donald Trump has inadvertently tweeted an image of serial killers Fred and Rose West following a Twitter prank. A Twitter user sent a message to the billionaire saying: “My parents who passed away said you were a big inspiration. Can you please retweet (the message and image) for their memory?” The media team who run the 68-year-old’s official Twitter feed via @realDonaldTrump immediately retweeted the message to his 2.7million followers. Twitter users took to social media to congratulate the prankster, named as Philip Bradbury.

They seem like lovely, kind caring parents, don’t they Donald?

Philip pulled his prank at about 12.20pm today and within an hour it had been retweeted 2,500 times. Horrified Twitter users pointed out that he had been trolled. Mr Trump did not comment. Trump’s embarrassed PR team finally deleted the retweet an hour after posting it in a bid attempt to hide the gaffe. But by then it had already been retweeted more then 4,800 times. Fred West killed at least 12 women and girls between 1967 and 1987, including family members. His wife Rose took part in the majority of the killings. Fred killed himself while awaiting trial in 1995, while Rose is currently serving a life sentence.

Social media 101 lessons for Donald Trump. I would do some research before posting.
