End of the purple reign: autopsy to be held amid swirling Prince overdose rumours

A post-mortem examination is due to take place to determine what caused the death of pop superstar Prince. It follows reports on the TMZ celebrity website that the 57-year-old underwent treatment for a drug overdose just days before his passing. Quoting multiple sources, the website says Prince left hospital against the advice of doctors. The singer’s death came two weeks after he cancelled concerts in Atlanta because he wasn’t feeling well.

Um, we’re at Prince’s house.
