First behind-the-scenes footage of new James Bond film is released

The first behind-the-scenes footage from the new James Bond film Spectre has been released. The new video shows Daniel Craig and his co-stars Lea Seydoux and Dave Bautista shooting scenes in the snowy Austrian mountains. The footage shows the scale of director Sam Mendes’ production with helicopters, cable cars and car chases on windy mountain roads. Fans also get a glimpse of 007 showing off his skills with a gun. The film’s other stars, Monica Bellucci and Christoph Waltz, do not appear in the clip.

I think that we are going to continue the history of the Bond films, making things that are exciting for the audience to look at and what could be more exciting than to be on top of the world?

Production designer Dennis Gassner

Bautista, who plays henchman Mr Hinx, said: “I grew up in the inner city. It’s my first time ever on a mountain.” Seydoux, who plays Bond girl Madeleine Swann, said: “I’m quite nervous at the moment but really excited about starting the film.” Associate producer, Gregg Wilson said: “We have to deliver an amazing sequence and this is going to be one of the major action sequences of the movie, a jewel in the crown so to speak. ”It’s going to be spectacular and Austria seemed to offer everything that we needed to pull it off.”
