‘It was like a death’: Moment Ryan Reynolds found friend trying to sell baby photos

Actor Ryan Reynolds has revealed he is no longer talking to one of his long-time friends because he tried to sell photos of his baby daughter. The Canadian star told GQ magazine that a man he had been friends with for 25 years betrayed him and his actress wife Blake Lively. Baby James was born in December 2014 but the couple have kept photos of her private. "He had been shopping pictures of my baby around,“ he said.

I kind of got in front of it, which is good. But it was a slightly dark period. A bad couple of weeks.

Deadpool star Reynolds, 38, said they have sent pictures to a small number of family members and close friends which is how he learned of the attempted sale. "I don’t think he thought he would ever be caught. But it’s a pretty narrow group of people that I would send photos like that to,” he said. Reynolds said he confronted the friend and the pair had a “strongly-worded conversation” but added that he will never see or speak to him again.
