Kylie Jenner sparked some serious backlash by posing in a wheelchair

She sold out her lip kits yesterday, but Kylie Jenner is the center of a new frenzy this morning. The youngest Jenner sister appears in the latest issue of Interview magazine, in a revealing interview and an… interesting photo shoot by Steven Klein. One such photo shows Kylie sitting in a wheelchair dressed as a’sex doll’, which has angered some disability advocates. The move has been criticised on social media and branded “offensive” and “tasteless” by wheelchair users.

wow being in a wheelchair is so fun and fashionable! #Ableism is the ultimate fashion statement!

Interview magazine issued a statement to E! News explaining their decision and saying their “intention was certainly not to offend anyone”. It said: “At Interview, we are proud of our tradition of working with great artists and empowering them to realise their distinct and often bold visions.“ In the article, Jenner hits out at the bullies who have targeted since the Kardashian reality TV show hit the screens. "Like, every single day I see something negative about me. And it’s just completely torn me apart,” says the 18-year-old.

Oh I see! When I’m in my wheelchair noone can look me in the eye but when Kylie Jenner sits in a wheelchair it’s FASHION. silly me.
