Fans of erotic novel “Fifty Shades of Grey” were left disappointed after an Airbnb listing for a luxury condo in the same building as the book’s sexy, fictional hero Christian Grey was pulled. Just days after being published, the posting was promptly taken down for violating the terms of the building’s ownership agreement, which prohibits short-term rentals.

In advance of the film release of the erotic novel, Airbnb posted a listing that offered up the chance to spend the night in “the sexiest building” in Seattle, the Escala, a luxurious residential complex and fictional home for Grey, the story line’s enigmatic and sexually ravenous millionaire. For $257 USD a night (and a minimum three-night stay), fans would have been able to live out their own R-rated fantasy.
