The health of former F1 champion Michael Schumacher appears to be declining, according to his former boss at Ferrari. “I have news and unfortunately it is not good,” Luca di Montezemolo said, without giving any details. The German suffered serious head injuries while ski-ing in France in December 2013. He is still receiving intensive treatment far from the public eye at his home in Switzerland. Mr di Montezemolo defended the 47-year-old over rumours he was to blame for the accident. "It’s not true that Michael wasn’t careful on his skis. When he went off piste, he was always careful,” said the former Ferrari chairman. "More than anything, on skis he was very careful.“
