'Off my bucket list': Obama makes a visit to 'cool' Stonehenge

U.S. President Barack Obama ended a busy two-day NATO summit in Wales with an impromptu stroll through Stonehenge. While other world leaders may have headed straight for the airport, the U.S. President took a small detour for a spot of sightseeing. “How cool is this?” he commented as he was taken on a guided tour through the ancient Wiltshire monument. He told reporters it was always something he had wanted to see, and now he had “knocked it off the bucket list”.

How cool is this? It’s spectacular. It’s a special place.

But it wasn’t just the President who had a day to remember. His impromptu visit won’t be forgotten in a hurry by a local family who were making their way through a nearby field of sheep. Mr Obama spent a few minutes chatting with the excited family of five. Mother Janice Raffle then posted a photo of the whole family posing with the President. This week’s NATO summit in Newport was held amid an escalating crisis in Iraq and Syria, with Islamic State members threatening to behead a British hostage after murdering two U.S. journalists.

I can see president Obama! Any messages?
