It’s a mistake a convicted felon never wants to make. Alvin Cross Jr. of Albany, Georgia, seems to have gotten his wires crossed – or, more accurately, his fingers – when he reportedly texted who he thought was his drug dealer. The message: “You have some weed?” The recipient: His parole officer, not his drug dealer. After receiving the text, the probation officer sent drug agents to Cross’ home, where a bag of cocaine was discovered. Unsurprisingly, he’s going back to serve another year in prison for violating his probation.
