Photos of possible personal items from doomed MH370 posted online

Photos have been released of items possibly belonging to those on the ill-fated Malaysia Airlines flight MH370. About 20 items have been found by US lawyer Blaine Gibson, who has posted them on the website Aircrash Support Group Australia. They include bags, camera cases, shoes and a laptop case. Mr Gibson found the items in June on Riake Beach, on the island of Nosy Boraha in Madagascar, the same beach where he found two more pieces of debris that are being investigated as possibly being from the aircraft itself.

Attempts have been made to reach family members and invite them to view the pictures and check if there is a positive identification by any of them.

He has, however, told the media the items may not be related to MH370 at all but that it is “important that they are investigated properly”. MH370 was flying from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing in March 2014 and is thought to have crashed into the southern Indian Ocean after veering off course. There were 239 people on the flight.
