Potty for Potter: Mexican has largest collection of boy wizard memorabilia

Menahem Asher Silva Vargas (pictured, left) started collecting Harry Potter items 15 years ago, when he was 12. First, it was toys, then it branched into all sorts of things, from scarves to soda cans from Japan and Chinese language editions of Rowling’s books. He has 3,097 items in all — earning a Guinness Award as the world’s largest anywhere. Silvia Vargas, a real estate lawyer, has put the collection up for display at the Mexican Museum of Antique Toys in Mexico City.
