Prisoner: Cell Block H star faces historic child sex charges

Australian actress Maggie Kirkpatrick, who starred in the TV series Prisoner: Cell Block H, has denied historical child sex allegations. The 74-year-old has been charged with indecently assaulting a 13-year-old girl in the 1980s. She is due to appear in court in Melbourne, Victoria, on 19 August. Kirkpatrick, from New South Wales, came to prominence in the 1980s television show, known as Prisoner in Australia, in which she played a warden nicknamed The Freak.

Allegations have been levelled at me, yes. Are they true? Absolutely not.
