A man had to be rescued by police and fire crews after becoming caught upside down by his foot from a basketball hoop. Police were called to the ‘slam dunce’ at Cal Anderson Park in Seattle after receiving reports of a shirtless man with a hammer hanging from the hoop. The video shows the man moving wildly, twirling his body in an attempt to free himself as around a dozen officers look on. Eventually, a ladder is brought along by two firefighters to help him down, at which point he was swarmed by police officers. The incident followed May Day protests in the city.
He may be arrested for property destruction, or at least goal-tending.
