A wealthy customer who complained about the boss of electric car maker Tesla has had his order for one of their cars cancelled. Venture capitalist Stewart Alsop says Tesla dropped his order for a Model X SUV because of an blog post in which he criticised Tesla chief executive Elon Musk. In response, Mr Musk, co-founder of PayPal, decided to cancel the order for the car, which was to have come in red, with black leather seats and Tesla’s Ludicrous Speed option. In a Twitter post, Mr Musk, 45, said Mr Alsop was “denied service” for being a “super-rude customer”.
When I wrote a blog post about my BMW X1 called 'My Car Makes Me Feel Stoopid’, the CEO of BMW didn’t take the car back.

Mr Alsop’s personal blog is filled with articles complaining about the customer service of various companies. The spat with Tesla stemmed from a post in which the 54-year-old had complained that September’s launch event for the Model X started two hours late and no food was provided to guests. Mr Musk, In his latest blog he wrote to Mr Musk: “The end result is that you have decided that I can’t own one of your cars, and I am terribly disappointed. I had outlined in the original post how excited I was at the prospect of owning a Tesla, especially the Model X and especially the configuration I ultimately ordered.”
Must be a slow news day if denying service to a super rude customer gets this much attention
