Two dead after shots fired from silver Mercedes in Bavaria

At least two people have been shot dead by a man firing from a Mercedes convertible in southern Germany. The silver car sped away after an 82-year-old woman was killed near Ansbach in the state of Bavaria. A cyclist was then shot dead in nearby Rammersdorf. Police spokeswoman Simone Wiesenberg said the suspect had been arrested shortly afterwards. Petrol station employees detained the man after he went in with a weapon before it was cordoned off while emergency vehicles, a dog unit and police helicopters were sent to the area.
