Washington DC under attack - Sharknado 3 to be set in the U.S. capital

Tara Reid and Ian Ziering has confirmed they will return for a third battle with flying sharks. In the first two Sharknado films the actors’ characters April and Fin fought the monsters in Los Angeles and New York. The Syfy television channel and The Asylum production company have announced that a third B-movie will air in the summer.

The airborne animals will cause mass destruction in the nation’s capital before storming down the East Coast.

Sharknado 3 plot synopsis

Sharknado and Sharknado 2: The Second One have become television cult classics. The second film was Syfy’s most-watched original movie ever with 3.9 million viewers after it premiered in July last year. Original writer Thunder Levin will write the screenplay for the third movie, with Anthony C Ferrante returning to direct. The full title for the film has not been released yet.
