Pushing 80, but Donald Sutherland still a hit at Teen Choice Awards

Say it ain’t Snow! Donald Sutherland is 79, but still won big at the Teen Choice Awards. The legendary actor turned up accept his surfboard for Choice Villain for his performance as treacherous President Snow in the Hunger Games movies. His adoring young fans reacted to his appearance by slowly holding up the “District 12” sign - a hand symbol which means they admire and respect the person onstage. The actor gamely played along.”I am very nice, sweet-tempered, and generous. Too generous, in fact, that I have brought you souvenirs from Panem. They’re berries.” While tossing the objects into the crowd, he added with a sinister tone, “I wouldn’t eat them if I were you.” Selena Gomez won the highest honour, taking home the ultimate choice award as well as the award for choice female hottie. Jennifer Lopez presented the prize. Previous recipients include Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, Reese Witherspoon, Ashton Kutcher, Mike Myers, Venus and Serena Williams and Sarah Michelle Gellar.
