Trump makes a new enemy as he upsets Putin with online campaign ad

Donald Trump has made a new enemy … Vladimir Putin. The outspoken presidential wannabe, whose views on immigration and religion have caused outrage across the world, has upset the Kremlin with an online ad it says demonises Russia. Mr Putin’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov said he’d seen the video, in which the president is portrayed as one of America’s enemies, but doesn’t know if his boss has. He said: "We regard it negatively"

The demonisation of Russia and everything connected to Russia is, unfortunately, an obligatory part of an American election campaign

The video features Putin and what appears to be a fighter for the Islamic State group. It says that “when it comes to facing our toughest opponents, the Democrats have the perfect answer,” then cuts to footage of Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton barking like a dog — a clip from earlier this year. Mr Peskov added: "We always sincerely regret this and wish the (US) electoral process was conducted without such references to our country.“
