Real Madrid winger Angel Di Maria has arrived in Manchester to finalise his British record $98m move to Manchester United. Di Maria flew in from Spain and headed to United’s Carrington training ground on Monday night ahead of a medical and the completion of the formalities of a transfer which will make him the fourth most expensive player in football. The fee agreed between the two clubs for the Argentina international eclipses the $82m Chelsea paid Liverpool for striker Fernando Torres three years ago.
