Eagles Of Death Metal drummer Julian Dorio has vowed to finish the band’s Paris gig, saying he is “counting down the days” until they can do so. The musician, who was in the Bataclan music venue when gunmen burst in shooting 89 people dead, said he had been forever changed by the events of November 13. In an Instagram post alongside a picture of himself lighting a candle in Notre Dame cathedral, he praised those who went “toe to toe” with evil. He added: “I’m counting down the days until I get to finish that concert. Peace & love. #prayforparis #bataclan #eodm.”
To everyone who, in the face of unrelenting evil, went toe to toe using courage, compassion, and love as their weapons. You all are my heroes

Meanwhile, schools and metro stations in Brussels have reopened after being shut four days ago in a security crackdown. The Belgian capital remains on the highest alert, with hundreds of armed police and soldiers on patrol. Prosecutors announced that an international arrest warrant had been issued for Mohamed Abrini, who was seen with prime suspect Salah Abdeslam two days before the attacks. Meanwhile, police have said the ringleader of the attacks returned to the Bataclan concert hall while police were still there. Paris city prosecutor Francois Molins said phone records showed that Abdelhamid Abaaoud, who died in gun battle with police last week, returned even as an operation to free hostages was going on.
It’s like we are in a war. It’s not a good thing for the children, for the teachers, for everybody.
