Kuwait-bound plane diverted to Heathrow passenger falls ill

A plane travelling from New York to Kuwait City declared a state of emergency over Belgium and had to be diverted to the UK on Saturday morning. Flight KU118 landed at Heathrow airport, according to aviation website Air Live, sparking speculation a day after an explosion at a mosque in Kuwait killed 27 people.

Because of that terror attack in Kuwait yesterday, there is more reason to take note of a Kuwait bound jet turning round over Europe in midair and landing in London.

The reason for the diversion was later revealed to be a passenger aboard the flight who had taken ill. The passenger is now being treated in hospital and the flight is travelling back to Kuwait.
