Man fired from food warehouse job in Oklahoma beheads co-worker

Police say a woman who was killed at a food warehouse in suburban Oklahoma City was beheaded. Moore Police Sgt. Jeremy Lewis said Friday that the woman, 54-year-old Colleen Hufford, was beheaded by a recently fired male colleague, Alton Nolen, who then attacked 43-year-old Traci Johnson at Vaughan Foods in Moore. An off-duty officer who was working at the business shot the suspect. The surviving victim and the suspect were rushed to hospital.

The 30-year-old suspect recently started trying to convert some of his co-workers to the Muslim faith.

Jeremy Lewis, Moore police spokesman

Moore police spokesman Jeremy Lewis said: “He did kill Colleen and he did sever her head.” Lewis added that Moore police have asked the FBI to aid in the investigation and look into the suspect’s background. Police say the knife used in the attack is one that is typically used at the food distribution business and that the victims and suspect were not related.
