Phwoar! (Thor) star Chris Hemsworth named world’s sexiest man

Australian actor and “Thor” avenger Chris Hemsworth is the world’s sexiest man, according to the U.S. magazine People. The honour was announced on the late night U.S. TV show hosted by Jimmy Kimmel on ABC and the magazine itself. With his face at first masked and his voice digitally modified, Hemsworth, 31, speaking from Australia, toyed with playful yes-or-no questions from the American TV audience. Kimmel also played with the audience saying he would give three clues then proceeding to reveal those as: He is sexy, he is a man, he is alive.

Anything you would like to say to the men who lost, specifically Matt Damon?

Past choices of the magazine, which began handing out the accolade in a 1985 cover story on fellow Australian Mel Gibson, have ranged in age from 27, with John F. Kennedy Jr. in 1988, to 59, with Sean Connery a year later. Johnny Depp, George Clooney, Brad Pitt and Richard Gere have each been chosen twice. Last year’s cover, rocker Adam Levine, was one of the few non-actors selected by the editors. Hemsworth, whose first film was 2009’s “Star Trek” and is married to Spanish actress Elsa Pataky, will appear on the cover of People in the issue published on Friday.

I like everything there is about being sexy, to persing the lips the right way to squinting at the essential time. Thank you, Matt, and all the other previous intelligent men. This is based on an IQ test, not just the physical appearance.
