Smart@$$: The Onion launches BuzzFeed parody site Clickhole

After months of anticipation, the Onion has unveiled its newest comedy project, Clickhole. The Onion editors have turned their sights from newspapers to a newer, perhaps more insidious form of online media: viral-driven sites like Buzzfeed and Upworthy. A sampling of titles from launch day include “16 Pictures of Beyonce Where She’s Not Sinking in Quicksand,” “You Won’t Believe How Cheap This Stock Video of a Woman Sitting on a Swing Was,” and “10 Hilarious Chairs That Think They’re People.”

We strive to make sure that all of our content panders to and misleads our readers just enough to make it go viral.
