Suge Knight shot at Chris Brown’s 1OAK pre-VMAs party

Music producer Suge Knight has been shot at a pre-VMA party thrown by singer Chris Brown at 1OAK nightclub in Los Angeles. TMZ says the co-founder of Death Row Records, 49, was able to walk out of the club on his own, and was then taken to the hospital in an ambulance. The Daily Mail says Justin Bieber was in attendance, while US Weekly reports Young Jeezy, Lil’ Twist, The Game, E.J. Johnson, Derek Hough, Mark Ballas, Richard Simmons and Tyson Beckford were on the guest list.

People were screaming and yelling, and most ran out immediately. The floor was covered with glass from everyone dropping their drinks.

It is believed two other people were injured during the shooting. In video footage captured from inside the club, four shots ring out before cries to “get down” can be heard as much of the club cowers on the floor. In 2005, Knight was shot in the leg at Kanye West’s pre-VMAs party in Miami. He was also in the car with rapper Tupac Shakur when he was fatally shot in 1996.
