The bodies of an estranged husband and wife who appeared as ghost hunters in a paranormal TV show have been found in a barricaded apartment. Mark and Debby Constantino, who appeared on the Travel Channel show Ghost Adventures, were found when armed police stormed their adult daughter’s apartment in Sparks, east of Reno. The discovery came hours after officers found the body of another man at another address where Ms Constantino had been staying in Reno. They said the two incidents were “directly linked”.

Mark Constantino fired at officers as they approached the apartment door, according to police who were called to a hostage situation. Gunshots were heard in the apartment when officers knocked on the door and a man shouted “give me 15 minutes to gather my thoughts, or I’ll kill her”. Police used explosives to blast their way in. Court records showed Debby Constantino obtained a restraining order on her estranged husband last week. The pair, said to have been experts in electronic voice phenomena, appeared in episodes of Ghost Adventures shot at the Mustang Ranch brothel near Reno, the Goldfield Hotel and the Market Street Cinema in San Francisco.
