Actor Shia LaBeouf has been arrested and taken out of a New York City theater for being disorderly and causing a disruption, police said. He was removed last night from Studio 54 in Manhattan during a performance of the Broadway show ‘Cabaret’. A spokesman for the show says LaBeouf - who starred in the ‘Transformers’ movies - was “disruptive during Act 1” and was escorted out of the theater at intermission.
He was being rather difficult and combative, verbally … to the point where security guards asked him to please leave the premises and he refused.
NYPD spokesman George Tsourovakas
LaBeouf was escorted out of the theatre by police after refusing to go when asked to do so by security guards, said NYPD spokesman George Tsourovakas. The 28-year-old actor, who gave police a Los Angeles address, began making a disturbance and then used obscene language and became belligerent, Tsourovakas said. He was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and criminal trespass. LaBeouf’s other films include ‘Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull’ and ‘Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps.’
