Rapper and TV star wife’s murder-suicide ‘witnessed’ by Floyd Mayweather

A rapper shot dead his TV star wife before turning the gun on himself at a Los Angeles apartment, police suspect. Songwriter Earl Hayes and Stephanie Moseley, a dancer and actress on VH1 drama series Hit the Floor, were discovered on Monday morning. Los Angeles police said they are treating the incident as an apparent murder-suicide. Celebrity news website TMZ reports that professional boxer Floyd Mayweather, whose record label once signed Hayes, witnessed the killings after the rapper called him on FaceTime.

The initial investigation revealed that 34-year-old Earl Warren Hayes shot his wife 30-year-old Stephanie Elyse Moseley to death and then took his own life.

The rapper was enraged that his wife had been unfaithful, according to TMZ. Welterweight world champion Mayweather later retweeted a tribute to Hayes by rapper 50 Cent and on Monday night the boxer attended an LA Clippers game. Neighbours on Hauser Boulevard called police on Monday morning after hearing a woman’s screams and about 10 shots. Officers heard two more shots once they arrived at the Park La Brea housing complex. A SWAT team entered a bedroom and found two bodies.
