Canada Twitter account uses picture of Berlin to promote Toronto

Canadians have raised a polite eyebrow in the direction of the government-run @Canada Twitter account today, after it posted a tweet highlighting Toronto’s sustainable building efforts… accompanied by a photo of Berlin. Instead of a picture of Toronto’s iconic CN Tower, it posted an image of the Berliner Fernsehturm in Germany. To give their social media team the benefit of the doubt, the Fernsehturm is also mentioned in the article the tweet linked to. But the confusing choice is still somewhat embarrassing coming from the account billed as “Canada’s voice to the world.”
